Cachegeschichte

 Diggi4cache und der erste Cache im Landkreis Northeim  .

Arie  lebt Heute in Holland und hat im Jahre 2002 in Salzderhelden

gearbeitet .  Sein GPS38 hat er  von einem Kolegen gekauft und im Internet vom Geocaching gelesen .Kurzerhand hat er es ausprobiert und  ein Multicache versteckt . Dieser  startet in der Nähe des Bahnhofes und endet auf der Burg Salzderhelden.Nach seinem Angaben war sein GPS nicht  genau , deshalb hat er den Weg beschrieben , den Cache konnte man dann ohne GPS finden .

Das Listing war als Tradi gelabelt , es gab damals noch keine Probleme oder Kontrollen beim einstellen . Am Final wurden Münzen aus verschiedenen Ländern getauscht .

Es ist schon interesant was dieser Cache alles bot , wenn man keine Regeln beachten mußte. Multi , Letterbox und ein Hauch von einem Virtual . Arie ist überings auch für den ersten Cache in Thüringen verantwortlich , der immer noch aktive ist. In der heutigen Zeit ist es  nicht mehr möglich einen Cache  ohne Regeln einzustellen , manchmal wünsche ich mir auch die alten Zeiten zurück . Einfache saubere Verstecke , wo die Natur und das Umfeld  im Vordergrund stehen  . Da macht Cachen richtig Spass !!

Park your car or leave the train at N 51° 47,770 E

09° 55,328 and hike up to N 51° 47,AAA E 09°  54,BBB                         

(this should be approx. a 1 km walk through the village over public roads or approx.750 m when you go directly, but this won’t be possible unless you want to swim). When you reach the spotlook south and enjoy the view, after enjoying theview turn 180°. Go 92,6 m exactly north and you’ll find the cache. 

To calculate the coordinates for the view you haveto calculate the total amount of cash in his origin alform in eurocent. 

AAA = amount of eurocent + 761

BBB = amount of eurocent + 542 

HINT 1 : one nautic mile in meters equals one degree north 

HINT 2 : the cache is placed in a treestump
